Dubai Desert Safari Tour

Before I came to Dubai, Desert Safari was one of the most people suggest me to go , when you visit Dubai it seems like a must to do a safari tour. Personally, me cause I have never seen or been on a desert, I just have no idea what to expect, what to do, or how it’s going to be. The only image I have of a Desert is from movies, and in most of them desert seems like the last place you would want to be, cause they always picture desert as a dry, no life and you’ll die from severe dehydration if you walk in the desert hahahah, well? My husband had a chance to go before me, he went on a morning safari tour with his colleagues, and his feedback was really nice. So when he asked me when I would like to do it too, I said since you’ve just done it, let’s wait until we have guest visiting us in Dubai, then we will take them there, and he agreed …

For the stay at home wife

Growing up I’ve always known what I wanted to become. You know that time of school where teachers would ask you what your dreams are and what you want to be in the future, while most of other kids would think of being an astronaut, doctors, scientist, architects, etc, and when it’s my turn I’ve always answered it with a proud voice that i wanted to become a housewife, a great one. I know what most of people might be thinking when they hear my answer, “if you just want to be a housewife, why even bother going to school? Let alone finishing your university degree?” Thing is, when that question came up, I mean that dream job question, I could not think of anybody else who does a better job that my own mother. Who you guess it right, she is a housewife, a great one. Having such a good role model in my life, how could I not want to be like her? My mother works hard, every single day, when other workers …

How to be a great yoga teacher

So you’ve finished your 200hr Yoga teacher training, and can’t wait to rock new yoga classes. But i know teaching your first class might be terrifying, or even every other classes after that. Now first of all, i’m gonna tell you that nervous, scared feeling are totally normal. You feel that way because it’s a new thing, and whether you succeed leaving the students with a smile at the end of the class matters. Being a yoga student and then a teacher gave me a lot of experiences, one that feels not right if i keep it to myself, but keep in mind that i’m not going to talk about the study of yoga (since each one of you got it from YTT already) but more like a reminder on how to be your best version of a teacher, and i know this knowledge will help new teachers who’s struggling to keep students coming back for another class. Okay let’s start by Setting your intention. Now that you are ready to teach a class, …

Road trip to Saint-Malo

Hi Everyone! So as you may know from my Instagram’s post we went to Brettany (Bretagne in French) last time we were in France. And it was a trip worth visit for. If anybody planning to go to France, instead of staying in Paris (again?) you should definetly consider on visiting brittany. Here’s a bit information about Brittany, it is a cultural region in the north-west of France. Brittany is a very quiet peaceful region compare to the overcrowded city of Paris. So let me start telling you our journey to Saint-Malo. It was already Autumn when My husband and I were in Paris, we woke up at 8.30am that morning, and when I openned the window surprisingly the weather is very nice and sunny! As few days before this, I was struggling with the cold weather. So I told Mimi(my husband) that i need to go out for a run first before we had off to Saint-Malo. And of course he let me, even though I know He would prefered us to go right away. …

How safe is online dating?

Online dating is definitely not a new thing for western culture, but for Asians and especially Indonesians, online dating is still very vague. The opinion most Indonesians have when it comes to online dating are negatives. One of the most common they will ask is, “is it safe?’ Me personally, I don’t see online dating as a dangerous or a thing you should not considerate. Although, I can understand why most people think otherwise. There are few tips I can explain why online dating isn’t such a bad thing. And I will encourage any of my friends to try at least once. 1. Our world has changed. with the evolution of technology, we spent most of our time on our laptop and our phone. We socialize through internet. Probably everything now, is easily reachable by internet. We talk, we chat with our friends through many chat applications. So why not trying to get to know someone new also through online? 2. It is not a bad thing. it all comes down to your intention. If your …
